Terms and Conditions

HEY UP CUPCAKE CARE INSTRUCTIONS & T&C’s

Transporting :

Please place your cupcakes in the footwell or boot only.  Never place on someone’s knee or on a seat, this is not a secure or a  flat place and could easily damage the cupcakes if the driver was to break hard for example.

Storing :

Please store your cupcakes in a cool room out of direct sunlight and away from any radiators that may be on in the winter months. Please avoid any environment which may have condensation & don’t leave in a car even if its cool outside. This can make the cases peel away from the cupcakes. In summer if its very warm indoors the cupcakes can be stored in the Fridge, take out 30 mins before consuming.

Eating them :

The best bit !  Cupcakes are best eaten at room temperature as the sponge will be soft and moist and the buttercream not too hard. If you have  had to refrigerate them please remove from fridge 30  mins before consuming. Your cupcakes are best eaten within 3-4 days.

By purchasing a product from Hey Up Cupcake it is assumed that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions in full.

Prices
All prices are non-negotiable and priced according to your size of cake/cupcakes/bouquet.

All payments are taken in full at the time of booking in order to secure the date.

Deposits are only taken for wedding / large / or orders in advance of 3 months . Such deposits upon cancellation of an order can either be transferred to another date and order or refunded with more than 3 weeks notice to the date of the order. If there is less than 3 weeks to the date of order the deposit can be transferred to another mutually agreed date / order . no refund will be offered after this time.

Orders
To avoid disappointment please give as much notice as possible for your order. However, I will accept short notice orders subject to availability.
Each cake is bespoke and made individually by hand, so although every effort is made to ensure consistency, small variations may occur from the colour and design requested.
Once an order is placed, adjustments and alterations may only be made at the discretion of HEY UP CUPCAKE on an individual basis. I reserve the right to refuse any adjustments and alterations after an order is finalised.

Collection
Collection times are arranged and agreed on an individual basis. Once you have agreed a collection time it is your responsibility to adhere to the chosen time and date, please treat this as an appointment like any other. If you are likely to be late or need to change the time please contact me at your earliest convenience.

Allergies & Dietary Requirements
Although I cater for Gluten free, diary free and vegan  I do not cater for nut allergies or other serious allergies.  My cakes are made in my home kitchen therefore I cannot guarantee a nut free environment, there  will also possibly be present in my home kitchen , flour, eggs, dairy products, seeds etc  for example.

All of the ingredients and  food colourings I use are vegetarian.

Design
Due to the nature of these products there will be variation in the product in comparison to any other product depicted in my gallery. I do not and cannot guarantee 100% accuracy in design or manufacture and whilst I make every effort to provide the product requested, you accept there will likely be variance in colours and design in your order from gallery pictures.
Final designs and variants thereof are at the final discretion of Hey Up Cupcake to ensure the best possible result for each individual customer.
Hey Up Cupcake reserve the right to use any image of a cake/cupcakes for publication on social media and other publications.

Cancellations

In the event you need to cancel an order completely, Hey Up Cupcake will offer a full refund or transfer of cost of order with 2  weeks notice prior to the collection date the order was booked under. If an order needs to be cancelled within 7 days of order date then only a transfer of cost to another mutually agreed date will be offered.

Disputes

In the event that you are not completely satisfied with your order please contact Hey Up Cupcake as soon as possible after collection / delivery.. A partial or full refund would only be considered when the product purchased is returned in full to Hey Up Cupcake for inspection.
